5. PUBLIC HEARING: Chair Woodruff opened the Public Hearing on the Urban Renewal Agency Budget for FY 2007-2008. Genie Papas addressed the Agency regarding the increase in sewer rates and the fact that she believed the Agency should be paying for improvements rather than the ratepayers. Chair Woodruff noted that there may be some confusion in regard to the way the different funds interact. Ms. Leonard suggested that she meet with Ms. Papas to review her concerns. There were no other comments. Chair Woodruff then closed the Public Hearing.
6. DISCUSSION/ACTION ITEMS:
    A. Consideration of Resolution Amending Budget for FY 2006-2007: Member Cutter moved to approve Resolution 07-02. Member Welch seconded, and the motion carried unanimously on a voice vote.

Chair Woodruff asked about the projects that were going to be completed with the loan, and Ms. Leonard responded that one of the major projects was the sliplining of the sewer pipes in Old Town, to reduce I & I. The motion then carried unanimously on a voice vote. Member Cutter noted a recent article regarding sliplining, and how the technology is saving thousands of dollars in places like New Orleans. Ms. Leonard agreed, stating that the City was very fortunate to be able to take advantage of the process.
