APRIL, 2006 URBAN RENEWAL MEETING MINUTES:
APRIL 25, 2006 (BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING)
1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL: The meeting was called to
order at 2:07 p.m. Chair Welch and Agency Members Kelly, Hanes, and Beckstead
answered the roll. Members Campbell, Church and Woodruff were excused.
Laypersons Tryon, O’Neil, Perkins, Canfield, and Rivers answered the roll.
Laypersons Gordon and Hamilton were absent. A quorum was present.
2. PUBLIC HEARING: Waldport Urban Renewal Agency Budget for Fiscal Year
2006-2007: The Public Hearing was opened. There were no comments. The Public
Hearing was closed, and the Budget Committee meeting was recessed.
At 4:43 p.m., the Budget Committee meeting was reconvened.
Ms. Rivers moved to accept the proposed budget as presented, and
recommend its adoption to the Waldport Urban Renewal Agency. Ms. Hanes
seconded, and the motion carried unanimously on a voice vote. Ms.
Rivers moved that the Waldport Urban Renewal Agency approve taxes for the
2006/2007 fiscal year at the maximum amount from Division of Taxes and no
special levy amount for the Urban Renewal #1 Plan. Ms. Hanes seconded,
and the motion carried unanimously on a voice vote. Ms. Rivers moved
that the Waldport Urban Renewal Agency approve taxes for the 2006/2007 fiscal
year a the maximum amount form Division of Taxes for the Urban Renewal #2 Plan.
Ms. Hanes seconded, and the motion carried unanimously on a voice
vote.
3. ADJOURNMENT: At 4:44 p.m., there being no further business to come before the
Agency, the meeting was adjourned.
