NOVEMBER, 2000 URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY MEETING MINUTES:

NOVEMBER 7, 2000

1.    ROLL CALL:  Chair Moore called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.  Chair Moore and Members Church, Lehmann and Welch answered the roll.  Members MacGregor, Peterson and Searcey were absent.  A quorum was present.
2.    CITIZEN COMMENTS AND CONCERNS:  None.
3.    AGENCY MEMBER COMMENTS AND CONCERNS:  Mr. Dowsett noted that the Economic Development Alliance will be having a meeting on Tuesday, November 28, 2000 if anyone was interested in attending. 
4.    MINUTES:  The Agency considered the minutes from the October 26, 2000 meeting.  Mr. Welch moved to approve the minutes as presented,  Ms. Lehmann seconded.  The motion carried unanimously on a voice vote.
5.    FINANCIAL STATEMENT:  Mr. Dowsett noted the increase to $955,000 in projected revenue because of the one-year increase means that the Agency could increase the projected bond issue from 1.3 to 1.6M.  Consensus of the Agency was to look at this further along in the budget process.
6.    APPROVAL OF BILLS: 
   
A.    The Agency considered City of Waldport  Invoice No. 901 from November 1, 2000.  Ms.  Lehmann moved to approve, Mr. Church seconded, and the motion carried unanimously on a voice vote.
7.    OLD BUSINESS:  None
8.    NEW BUSINESS:
    A.    Financial Memo:  The Agency noted receipt of the memo.
    B.    Consideration of Resolution Declaring Property Surplus:  The Agency considered Resolution No. 00-02, declaring property at the old Waldport Motel as surplus.  Ms. Lehmann moved to adopt, including the addition of a category for miscellaneous personal property.  Mr. Welch seconded, and the motion carried unanimously on a voice vote.  Mr. Church then moved to save the wax myrtle bush, Mr. Welch seconded, and the motion carried unanimously on a voice vote.  Mr. Dowsett suggested that the Agency consider adopting a strategy for disposal of the property, such as selling what they can, donating what they can, and then allowing people to salvage.  Ms. Lehmann moved to adopt the strategy, allowing the City staff to have control.  Mr. Church seconded, and the motion carried unanimously on a voice vote.
9.    ADJOURNMENT:  At 9:13 a.m., there being no further business to come before the Agency, Mr. Welch moved to adjourn, Ms. Lehmann seconded, and the motion carried unanimously on a voice vote.
